I need help to know if my bag is authentic. I've been everywhere, read everything, and i still don't know!

I have a LV backpack that has been discontinue, I went to the store today the lady didn't know so she pointed me towards a "guy" and he said it was fake as SOOON as I showed it to him BUTTTTTT when I mentioned him about the Date Code he had this look on his face like he questioned himself and then said " It's discontinue anyway".

The bag is 9 years old The stitching is aaaaammaaazing, it says made in france, the stamps are perfect, the loop thats inside has the date number, The overall package is perfect!

Did I mention that I chatted it up with a LV represntive online and he told me that he didn't know why the people at the store even said anything to me because they aren't suppose to help customers that way.

So can anyone PLEEEEASSSE HELP ME!!!???
