Half Cash, Half Credit?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, and I did a search and couldn't find any answers. I was wondering if it is possible to purchase something half cash, half credit. I ask because I want to purchase a Neo Cabby GM, and get points on my CC, but I don't have a $2000 limit yet! I just wanted to ask because I don't want to go in and embarass myself

. I will probably buy quite a few more things before then, and my favorite SA who I'd ask this moved away and I am now SA-less! Thanks for any info!!

Whew I was so nervous that they wouldn't! I just didn't want to get there and be totally mortified. (Although not more than when my ex-BF asked "does that wallet come free with the bag?" when I was looking at the PTI buying my Speedy 30. I could have fainted.)

I have done it also; it's actually quite common. I've also done it at Tiffany's......just saying. :)

Wow I had no idea I could do it at Tiffany's either! I like to use cash, and in fact that was all I could use until I just got my CC, so I'm such a newbie at using my card haha!

horrible I know ..but he doesnt get why the stuff is priced so high ..

yes you can i did it before with a 1700- bag... i paid 1500 cash n the rest on my card i didnt want to pay interest on all of it so i paid as low as i can with my cc

I often do this when I have some spare currency and if the echange rate was more favourable when I aquired the ahrd cash rather than the current card rate. Most stores do this.
