I do this but with my debit card and cash because I have a dollar-limit per day that I can spend on my debit card and I pay the rest cash; it's totally doable!

Until my DH is ready to give me the Amex which has no spending limit, I'll continue to have to split payments on certain items.

You definitely can. We've had a customer split her purchase three ways before - she paid using a mixture of several gift cards, several credit cards, and the balance in cash.

Me too! As someone said earlier, they are more than happy to take your money from you. I find with LV SA's, the not so friendly ones, its when it comes to payment time, that's when they turn on their friendly switch
