Hey guys im a newbie i just recently joined this forum and i absolutely LOVE reading threads from everyone!
Any how I will be making my first purchase from Louis Vuitton but i cannot decide on the size. My heart is set on the speedy damier azur, but i was just wondering if the 25 is too small and if i should go for the 30. Any suggestions? I know this is probably an old topic but any help would be greatly appreciated. Also is anyone here from toronto? If so do you know a good SA in Holt Renfrew or the LV shop on bloor, because i read a lot of bad experiences with SA's and i really don't want to have a bad experience buying my first LV. Thank you guys soo much. and please help me with my dilemma..

welcome to tpf! 30 is the more popular size

for me i bought azur25 as i'm fairly petite and don't plan carrying much

I think that the 30 is the best way to go- it can hold a LOT, but doesn't liik completely giant, and can still be an everyday purse.
I tried a 25, but it seemed significantly smaller than the 30.
If you're very tiny, you might want to get a 25, otherwise, I think the 30 is the way to go!
Love the damier azur, too! Mine is on the way!

I'm tiny - so I picked the 25 - it looks much better on me. I sold my Damier 30.

... Thanks trumanfinn! I think I'll just have to wait til I go to the store to see which one suits me for my size, but I have to say I'm dreading going into the store as I read many bad stories with mean and rude SA's. Oh and cogratulations on you're 30 can't wait to see it! =)

Thanks! I was leaning on the 25 but after reading threads I got confused about Which size I really wanted. Most people are saying the 30 and the 25 is too small so I guess I'll just have to see for myself in the store whih I'm dreading due to rude sa's

Well I was thinking of getting the 25 because
I'm also petite and stand at 5"0. Hehe.. So maybe the 25 will be better for me then? I have one more question I really like the box that comes with the purse do I have to ask for the box or does it automatically come in I box? Thank you soo much everyone!!! =)

Not all SAs are rude- I've had a few bad experiences, but a LOT of them are very nice and helpful! Good luck, and let us know what you decide!!!

You need to try them on if you can.
My stepson's girlfriend and I are about the same height. She can wear both sizes but I look ridiculous with the 30; I need the 25.

for the box some stores will give without asking but otherwise u just need to ask. maybe say it's a gift (which is true! gift to oneself hehe

For someone petite, 25 for looks (unless you normally don't carry much) and 30 for function. I have both. The 25 looks better on me but I find the 30 easier to use if I want to stuff a cardigan or scarf or magazine inside. The 25 fits a surprising amount but the opening is small which makes it less convenient to get things in and out. Hope this helps! Also, I think because of the patten of the damier makes it look larger than the same bag in mono. If you think you might own 2 speedies in the future, I'd recommend a mono in 30 and damier in 25.

Thanks this helped alot.. I wasthinking getting the damier azur in 25 and then the ebony in 30 i just love the color in both..
