I've just been one to LV and I wonder if they sell the bags that SAs give you to try in the store. I mean when I bought my speedy the SA opened a drawer and took out a speedy which was folded and filthy. Do they sell these bags? i told him I wanted a new one ut I've been wondering if I've been too naïve and that it was obvious that they don't sell the items in display in the shops.

Yes, especially if it's the last one...if it's a popular style like the Speedy, they should have some newer, untouched ones in the back to sell, but if it's a limited edition style or a rarer item, they will be more likely to sell the display bag.

The Eva I got was the one I tried on.

ETA: My Trunks & Bags bandeau was the only one in the store and the one on the mannequin.

Some older ones that are patinad I hope not. But I tried the new quilted style and it was a display the only one. My bandaeu was the only one tied on a bag and I took it.

As I was new in this "world" I just thought that maybe there had that speedy and other bags for customers to try in the shop, I can't imagine that LV could sell that dirty bag to anyone.

Yes, if you are happy with the one you try on display and it is perfect there is no reason to ask for a new one. This was what happened when I purchased my florentine pouch and XS belt last year. Tried the display- loved it but needed a smaller belt so SA went and brought the XS belt. She said the florentine stays very shortly in the drawer for display as people buy them quite quickly. Usually I will ask for 2 or 3 of the same item to be brought out so I can pick the one I want but sometimes I am fine with taking the 1st one if I check it and get that "This is it!" feeling.

i personally don't like buying display pieces, unless it's the last piece and i'm really desperate for it

i can't stand the feeling of buying a bag others have tried on and carried around the store numerous times.

If you buy from lv.com is it shipped from a warehouse where nothing has been touched? Or is it just shipped from a store like I know they do with Gucci if you purchase from their website?

when i bought my nf the other day, i got the one from the drawer that I tried on. I was inspecting it, and asked if that was the one I would get (it had already started to very slightly patina) and he said that yes, if I was happy with that one, that was the one I would get. I was happy with it, so it came home with me!

I just got a Damier Neverfull (LOVE IT BTW

) and I tried on the one they had on display; when I told the SA I was taking it she took one out of the back and without me asking she laid it out and told me that "it had never been touched my human hands"! It makes it feel special as I am the only one who's ever held my new baby
