I found this article about counterfeit goods and I apologized if this isn't the place to post this. http://www.latimes.com/features/life...,6356024.story

Does anyone know if LV has their own investigating task forces? I mean considering so many fakes out there I would think they would have their own. Any thoughts?

From the LV.com website:

"A special team has been set up in Paris, with offices abroad. Louis Vuitton works with various French and international professional associations to make consumers aware of the risks inherent to the purchase of counterfeits. More than 13,000 counterfeiting proceedings and 6,000 raids were launched last year leading to the arrest of almost 1,000 counterfeiters."
