electronic gift card ( something like that , think only Saks fith has this program (pls correct me if i'm wrong( .
for example where when you buy worth 2000$ you will have 300$ in gift card that you could use during that event.

No not even LV in Saks. But you can buy an LV and can use the card in saks. If you use your Saks charge card. That is why I buy my LV at Saks.

Your LV purchases do not count towards EGC points but you can use the gift cards you get from other purchases towards LV purchases.

In Canada, Holt Renfrew stores with LV counters do have events where purchases at LVs count towards ECGs.

so that means if i buy some things in the store and get an egc, i can use that egc towards my LV purchase?

Yes, and if you use your American Express Holt's card all your purchases count toward ECG's, but they are not as generous with the points as they are on PSN. Best of all the Holt's ECGs can be used at the Holt's LV!

I was just in Saks on Friday and there were little signs all over the LV department stating something about LV participating in Saks gift cards. I'm not sure if it was specifically about EGC (I was running late and didn't check out the details) but it seemed to be a big deal as there were multiple signs announcing this change.
