Default Do SAs/LV stores have your purchases listed on computer?

Just curious, when you make a purchase at an LV boutique, do they have on record all your purchases, ie. what you bought and how much you have spent. Or, do they just see that you made, for example a purchase on June 1, and a purchase on Aug 3, etc. with no listing of how much you spent and what you bought?

they have a listing of all your purchases, ie. you customer number shows your purchases and date information. my friend had a house fire last year and her agent wanted receipts of her handbags as she had TONS. we simply went to LV and Gucci and they gave duplicate receipts.

They have a record of what you bought, when, and at which store. I would assume it would also note how much, since they have a record of the items purchased.

I don't think their list includes purchases from eLUXURY though. Someone correct me if I am wrong. The list is only for LV counters in dept stores, botiques, and the LV website.

^^^ I don't know about eLux, but LVMH owns eLUX, so it's entirely possible that the systems are connected. Mind you, eLUX sells all the LVMH brands, so they may not be able to link the systems that easily.

No, eLux database is not included in the US database, neither is Hawaii nor other countries.

I always thought that was a bit silly.

From talking we SA's in various locations, it is my understanding that all of the US is in one system. In Europe, the systems are regional and, while they encompass multiple countries, they do not include all of Europe in one. I know my purchases in Denmark do not show up in the system with my purchases in the Netherlands.

My SA in Dallas said that I could just bring in my foreign receipts and they would add the items to my account to keep it up-to-date. I haven't actually done that though.

what about the LV store in Saks or bloomingdale, so they use the same database with the other store? Since I had different customer number of LV store and Saks LV store.

LV in the dept stores are not part of the store, but just set up shop in the store.

They should share a database, if it's all in the same country/region. I have a customer number at my LV store. When I made a purchase at the Macy's LV, my SA brought up my customer account information just by looking up my name. She had my address info and a listing of my purchases made at my LV store, and she told me that my Macy's LV purchase will be included on the profile visible at my local LV. I made sure of this, because it's nice to have that information all in one place in case I ever need proof of purchase (for insurance or repairs or something like that).

You might have a different customer profiles at LV and Saks if your SA at one location didn't bother searching for an existing profile before starting a new one.

I think eLUXURY is on a totally different system.

Oh Yes! I know because one of the SAs pulled up what I'd spent since 2003...
Was not a pretty picture.
