If we could - I totally be whatever about giving a discount here and there....but for LV bags to go on sale? Eek... yeah not good... I'd quit the company...
I know you guys know a lot about LV - more so than most associates I've met, but yeah totally never ask about sales and discounts to a SA... some don't respond well to that - although they'll say it with a smile, but yeah I wouldn't go there... |

A friend of mine got a 10% discount that she used at LV from someone who works at Bloomingdales - evidently Bloomingdales employees get a discount once a year or so that they can use on anything sold in the store.

I know Neiman Marcus associates can only get 3 LV bags per calendar year.... and that our manager rings them up... were very strict with that stuff. |

When I used to work at Bloomingdale's several years ago, the discount was 20% off and I bought quite a few bags! Now, Bloomingdale's and Macy's have changed their policy and the discount is now 10%.

Here's another situation we run in to - we get a lot of Neiman Marcus associates from other stores wanting our LV discount, and yeah in order for them to qualify - they physically have to work at that store. |

Not really a DISCOUNT, but you can order off eluxury & if you don't live in a certain place like ca, then no tax. Also, if you buy something EXPENSIVE in a place with cheaper sales tax...but that's almost no difference.

aww well there goes my plan, haha. But yeah I probably should ask first anyway. Wishful thinking.
But I guess in a way it makes sense, you don't want the whole lot of Macys/Bloomingdales workers rushing to buy tons of LV at discounted prices. |
