Ok, I just called Phoenix and the SA was SOOOO nice! He had originally shipped the Tivoli to me and said that he would call cutomer service and try to track one down to send to me so that I can compare. I hope he finds one! Even just having good service from this one SA has made me feel a lot better about the situation.
Qmocha, I was looking at other bags too, but I need to stop lest I fall in more love with something other than the Tivoli...lol. (BTW, I want to get the Damier Neverfull eventually, too!) |

I've been waiting for my tivoli pm to arrive since the first week of dec till now. I was made to pay in full for it as the Singapore LV Boutiques will not allow us to be on the waitlist or pay a deposit for it first..
I m kinda worried now to know of the shoddy workmanship of the pm.. i pray when they call me to go pick up the tivoli, (soon i hope... as i m getting really impatient)the bag will be of an acceptable standard.. keeping my fingers cross..

Don't worry too much Queenice. It is still a very nice bag that you're getting. It happened to some of us, but doesn't mean it's all bad. There are many who have the good ones. Just inspect very closely when you get it. Best of luck!

ChocoGrace, I think we have very similiar taste. Damier Neverfull is definitely very different than Tivoli. So it is okay to own both and love both. It is still best to get the bag we want early, when it is still less than $1K. In the future, who knows how much these bags will cost, know what I mean? And Neverfull seems to be very popular because of its size, function, and cost. Very nice option if you're looking for a LV shoulder bag. I actually like Montorgueil even more because it has the zipper closure.

Hi I'm new here and I'm really sorry to hear that there are so many problems with the Tivoli PM. I am shocked that there would even be quality problems with LV. I bought my PM last week and she is perfect, so keep hunting girls, there are good ones out there. I have only used her once so far, so I hope any flaking or rusting will not start or I'll be really disappointed with the queen of bags. Normal good expensive bags don't have these problems so we should really not expect this from LV right? Keep looking till you are satisfied and don't settle for anything less! Keep us all informed!

Thanks for the support, Bluediva! I have nothing new to report...only that the SA in Arizona is still trying to get a bag sent over to my local LV for me to compare and choose. Actually, he was suppossed to call back today but hasn't...I hope that doesn't mean anything bad
![]() Qmocha, we are so funny! Once our Tivolis get fixed, we can go back to loving them I want to use mine nearly everyday! Also, Joy, I think the Tivoli I have does have that gold "reflection" from the bottom of the bag. It is very slight and I almost didn't notice it...I was just looking for it because of this thread. |

Queenice - I'm glad you love your LVs!!! Only people on this forum can understand this. I'm glad we are all in this together!
ChocoGrace - don't be upset... keep yourself distracted by looking at other designs and maybe get another perfect bag. The Tivoli will come eventually. Just check carefully next time, so that you can enjoy the bag right away without so much hassle. You know what to be looking out for now. |

Sorry, my images are not coming up. I will continue to try and figure it out. I only used the bag ONCE and the red sealant chipped off already where the zipper closes. The red sealant is also not congruent in coloring through the whole bag. Ala Moana's LV Manager disputed it and said it was nothing and wouldn't help out at all. I also told him I felt the bag seemed cricked and he said it was because it was a supple bag. I just purchased the bag two weeks ago. But I just figured next time I will really look the bag over before I leave the store. I am really not happy with Ala Moana's service right now. But whatever, I still love the bag.

Whaaat? It CHIPPED off? That is nervewracking...I hope there isn't a full on bald spot on your vachetta edge. That manager should really have done something. If you are still ok with your Tivoli, then enjoy it. I hope it doesn't peel off more.

I just checked the edge of my LH and it has the same kind of edging as the Tivoli...maybe the zipper pulling has that effect
