You have really gotten my curiosity now since I hadn't noticed any pleat issues before. I checked out my PM, and the vachetta tag point is in the middle of the pleats. The pleats are 'soft' (not a sharp, crisp pleat) which could explain this issue because the pleats extend depending on how much is in your bag. At any rate, good luck with your quest.

, but I thought some pics on this thread might be useful. For reference, I got my GM right away and it was made in France.I attached two pics of my Tivoli GM: one is of the inside lining (which I don't think really sparkles although you may see a little reflexion) and the other picture is pleating. I don't have any issues with either, but I thought a few pics wouldn't hurt since I already had them on my computer. **Sorry the pictures won't upload, an error keeps popping up for some reason- if anyone knows how to fix this I will try again!** |

![]() But I had only got it for 2 weeks and carried it 3 times. I noticed the glaze problem on the day I picked it up but did not ask the SA about it. I regret it now. Although my pleats look normal but the LV Paris tag above the pleat looks just a tad off balance. It's not very noticeable with first glance. The zipper is a very sticky on mine, hard to close with one hand. I have to use both hand in order to close. I was hoping that it will loosen up with use. My lining is brown canvas with no glitter. Mine is also made in France. Today after learning your story, I think I will go back to my store and ask if I can exchange for another one. Thanks potato for posting and ChocoGrace for referring. Hopefully you will be able to fine a perfect Tivoli PM for yourself one day.

Oh, Qmocha...glad to be of help, even if it was upsetting news...do you have pictures of your pm with those issues you mentioned? I have no clue what everyone is talking about but I still want a tivoli pm...I'm crazy.

i would like to see pix too, i have no idea what the op is takling about, i got my tivoli when it was first released, after seeing this thread i went and checked the lining, there's definitely no sparkle, so not sure if it's one of the 'bad' ones.

![]() I will try to call and find out if they can exchange it or if not, maybe fix the glaze and zipper problem for me. I still love this bag, but would prefer the original version. I think you definitely get Tivoli PM, just make sure that you bring home a perfect one from the store. p.s btw how do I get my profile picture to show next to my posts? I am new to the forum.

^^^LOL, thanks. Ok, for profile pic, go to the link at the top called "my control panel" and click on "my profile"...that should lead you to be able to upload a very tiny pic. Also, try the search function if that didn't make any sense

wow - i'm kind of glad other people are noticing the same problems that i saw with mine. i was beg. to think that i was just being overreactive and obsessive about my bags being perfect!!

mm. I bought a PM right after it came out and I had handle not lining correctly problem so I returned it. I assume that was "first batch" which I didn't find anything special like gold sparkling??
and after a month I got another tivoli PM which I guess "second batch" and it looks fine to me but the handles look longer than the "first batch". maybe because bag got smaller? mm but my bag is same size as what LV.com says. though.. weird. as far as glazing goes around zipper, my first batch had poor glazing not that it's perfect now but it's okay. also due to shape of zipper, it is hard to open and close and I heard it will get loosen up. well. I'm not sure if my Tivoli's perfect but I'm happy with it :) and those two of Tivoli pm I got(one from LV.com the other shipped from AZ didn't have plastic around zipper pull. mm I'd like to see some pics, if possible Hope everyone will find perfect Tivoli!! |

Yours looks great. Now that see yours, I noticed that mine does not line up well where the pleats are. I am going to LV tomorrow because I had these weird little black marks on the leather part of the purse. Although they are small, LV Hawaii told me not to touch them and to bring the bag back. I think they are just trying to produce so many of these bags that some of the quality is not there. But I think yours looks fine. |
