this is just an added information. last december 18 before the price increase in LV Dubai was AED2250 but now its AED2350 = USD640 I also checked the price in LV Manila PHP34,000 = USD836 I guess for me it much cheaper in Dubai than Manila. And should i say in the North America because of the sales tax How about in LV Guam? Mono Canvas Speedy 30 per exchange rates on xe.com: in France - USD 537.31 in UK - USD 612.57 in Turkey - USD 625.00 in Singapore - USD 645.00 in US - USD 650.00 in NZ - USD 740.94 (retail) USD 650.07 (duty free) in Manila - USD 836 (retail) in Dubai - USD 640 |

Are you sure that LV is cheaper in France because the Euro is now equivalent to 1.55/1.66 USD and the price of a Speedy 30 online is 425 Euro, converted to dollars that is around 660 USD! So, thats more!

yeap exchange rates have been moving a lot, should have thought about that in advance and put the original currency with exchange rates in brackets LOL, now the prices are all over the place. Not to mention factoring in all the price increases! :)

I think Denmark is cheaper than France after VAT refund due to its currency rate...or pretty similar to Paris's price. Other EU countries also offer good price...around 2.5% higher than that in Paris.

Update.. due to the exchange rate of SGD to USD..
A speedy 30 is currently SGD950 which converts to USD688.50 :) Lv in singapore is REALLY expensive at the moment. |

i was in paris a couple of weeks ago. the 3 items i bought in paris (tivoli gm, mono speedy 30, and taiga book-fold wallet w/ 9 credit card slots) were still cheaper than the us prices. since i live in southern california, i at least saved on california tax. this doesn't include the VAT refund i should be getting in a few weeks.
