A little while ago I compared sone here is the difference on a MC speedy
Price in France is 1340 Euros this converts to £935 GBP or $1871 US To buy the bag in the UK you'd pay £990 To buy the bag in the US you'd pay $2000 approx |

they only give you 12% well that sucks.
I'm not sure of the process but I think you need to fill out a form in store and you'll need your passport (make sure you keep it safe the street of London are crowded) There is no LV at the airport just yet but when Heathrow finishes it's new terminal 5 there is one going in there |

France is absolutely the cheapest. Any other country adds import taxes to the merchandise price. Even taking into consideration currency fluctuations, buying in the 'home' country will be cheaper and you get VAT back. It is well worth hiding your purchase to avoid customs duty on the return in U.S. (did I really just say that!)

I have heard of people that, upon returning to the U.S. from overseas, have had to pay duty on their Rolex even though it was purchased at home, and of course they no longer had the receipt for proof.
