I am on my way to Nice, France tomorrow on business. If it is cheaper I will pick something up for my wife. How do you get the VAT back? Any special France only editions I should look for?
Thanks AW |

i live in ontario and even with the taxes accounted for, you pay about the same amount. if you lived in alberta, it would be cheaper in canada. US is NOT cheaper than canada, at the moment. our dollar is really strong right now and that's why they haven't had a price increase here in a while! |

I've been comparing prices between the UK and France as I'm going to Nice at the end of April. The Montaigne Sac works out around £60 cheaper if I buy it in France. Obviously it does depend on the exchange rate on the day.

I should resist buying any more LV from Australia as I will be in France for 5 week in Sept/October this year.

Hey all,
I'm going to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Japan in the next month. Which of these places would be better to purchse from? Also are they all tax free? I know Japan is but not too sure about the other countries. Looking from the previous posts Singapore would be the cheapest on my list it seems... I want to get the Magellan Wallet in the Monogram Canvas for my boy ![]() TIA

I'm going to buy LV in the Netherlands... will you get a VAT refund there too? Or is that only in Germany and France?
And... what IS is exactly? |

i bought my LV and Gucci bags in Italy when i was on tour. I was on a guided tour and my tour guide said we may not have enough time in France for shopping ( @ LV ). When I got back to Singapore, I checked out the prices here....After i worked out the exchange rates of the Euro n Singapore dollars, my 2 bags cost cheaper over @ Italy by btn Sing 100-200 dollars.
