I'm getting more and more interested in buying either the Beforedark or the Afterdark.. the LV boutiques around me do have them in stock so I should probably just go in and check.. but.. if anyone knows the price of those two off the top of their heads that would be awesome! Hi!

I plan to buy my first LV bag in Toronto, and I have a couple of questions:

1. I'm considering either a Mono or a Damier, the bag will be for everyday use. I see both these can be wiped clean from the outside. I've also read about the Vachetta on the handles in the mono and how that can be problematic. So overall, any suggestions on which is more durable, mono or damier?

2. I have more or less narrowed down on the Monterguiel GM. I also like the Hampstead MM but I definitely want a bag with a zipped closure, so that may be out. Any comments on either of these two choice or any other recommendations?

3. Which outlet in Toronto should I visit to buy from? In terms of service, customer friendliness etc.

Toronto boutiques in terms of service, etc.: (1) Holts Bloor St. (small, intimate, friendly boutique), (2) Bloor flagship (shouldn't everyone have the flagship experience?). They're walking distance from each other. If you want recommendations on good SAs, there are a couple of threads on here about Toronto SAs specifically.

Holts Yorkdale has an LV boutique, but there have been very few good reviews on the customer service there.
