Any updates or confirmation on the price increase in Canada? I hope it's not happening today, next week! I think it'll give us all a chance to think and buy! ;D

I just got off the phone with a different SA from a different boutique rather than the LV at HR. They were more open about talking about it and this is what they said: The price increase was suppose to be for April 16 or 17 originally, but they delayed it to Monday, April 21st.

Confirmed for April 21st!

I did not know that. Thanks for informing me, I'll just order from E-luxury.

When I went to LV yesterday, one of the SAs said our prices will be "on par" with the US. That means our increase will be bigger than theirs, and that's kind of unfair. I hope she's wrong, actually, but we'll have to see on Monday.

By the way, Calgary Holt Renfrew still has a Miroir heart in gold if anyone's still looking. I'm surprised they still have any around, but they definitely looked better in pictures than IRL, IMO.

ETA: She has to be wrong. She also said expect 3-5%. BUT if our prices were to be on par with the US, then we'd have like 7-9% increase, which is huge and totally unfair to Canada. If LV is increasing prices to bump their sales, how come they are increasing their prices more in one country but less in another?
For example, the Trevi PM would go from $1460 to $1590 (RIDICULOUS) -> almost 9%
The Speedy 25 would go from $605 to $660 -> over 9%
Saleya PM would go from $925 to $995 -> 7.5%
The Montorgueil PM would go from $700 to $760 -> 8.5%
Suhali Lockit PM would go from $2320 to $2540 -> almost 10%!!!

So, the SA got one of her "facts" wrong. The percent increase, or the fact that we'll be on par with the US.
I wish some SAs would do their research thoroughly before telling customers things like this.
