Well judging from the new thread with all the Canadian Pricing for LV items, Canadians are getting seriously ripped off of accessories (especially agendas!!!!!! YIKES!), but bags are good! WOOHOO!

However, the mono Koala wallet on eLux is $560, but in Canada, the same one (the one with the coin compartment, not just the cards) is $600...so it's a good deal for us~!

Karman, I Just checked one eBay, ur friend somehow overpaid (I dont c how) as I just saw an auction from someone who bought a mono wapity in june from holts at 305 canadian pre-tax. and havent prices gone down since? c for urself,

In August - The MC White Wapity was around 400.00 (on August 9 when I bought my purse). I can't remember the exact price. And I thought it was a bit high. But its a cute hand held purse. And very small, but the strap was nice, as it would be an item I still want, but not just yet.

I don't know then...it's the mono mono...so no MC.
Maybe it was around $380, maybe he just kind of forgot It was before the tax change so...If he paid $380 with tax, it means that the wapity itself was probably around $355. He got it a little while ago; maybe in April? So I don't know know if it was before/after the price increase/decrease.

He's not as crazy about LV as I am yet so maybe he just...forgot.

Anyway, I asked him over email...maybe it was a typo then? Maybe he meant...$280 pre-tax? How about somebody call the 866 number?? LOL *lazy*

The wapity is very cute... I would never get one though because I'd rather pay a little more to buy the mono pochette...but my friend uses it to hold his digi camera and he can fit his cards and money in there as well.

omg - I didn't know the Damier Speedy was around 670. I didn't even ask to look at this Speedy, as I thought it would of been more expensive than the MC Black Rift that I purchased. I seriously think I paid too much for my purse, but I had to have it. The MC Black Rift was 740.00 pre-tax. And like I said, it was the one I fell in love with. It's my first LV purse. I love it.

And I looked at a MC White Alma - it was 1440.00 I believe. And I seriously thought that Speedy would of costed more than what I purchased. I looked at the Alma - to see how much it costed. I knew very well I didn't have 1400! I really want (not need) a Petite Noe. And not many people have it on here in the MC - and I woulnd't mind knowing the price of this purse. I love the look of the MC White - but I can't keep it white. And I admire how it looks on people (everyone who has pictures) . But I know myself, that it would be a stain magnet.

The Viva Cite PM was 675.00 CAD. If anyone wants to know. I was looking at the Pochette Bosphore was 645.00. If I can remember right. I didn't go for this across the shoulder bag - as the strap was too casual for me - but it's a nice purse. And I tried on the Popincourt Haut and Popincourt Long. (Beauitful purses to see in person - to try on). Unfortunately I can't remember these prices.

so does this mean that we should actually price each item individually to see how much the difference between CDN and US prices are ??
instead of generalizing ??

I always thought that buying in the US was cheaper , especially if you live
in QUEBEC, since there are the both taxes ....can someone verify this ?
