I buy mono new and I have never bought used. But I find nothing wrong with buying Damier used in great shape.

I have only every bought new. But I am thinking it would be worth buying used in certain lines- some lines are going for huge saving right now.

Depends on what you are getting. Personally I love the thrill of getting that brown box and the fresh "new" smell.....HOWEVER if I can get a gently used bag for a great savings then I can just rub it against my other bags so the smell transfers and then pull it out of one of my brown boxes. It will be just like new with a huge savings

I would want to afford new all the time....
But there are times when I miss out on items that at that time I could not afford, i.e the Monogram Mizi I bought it on eBay for gently used and saved a few hundred there. But there are times when I buy brand new...Nothing beats the exhilaration of a new purse/wallet especially the intoxicating new leather smell!!! *slur*
My collection is half and half new from the store and gently used from eBay.
But yeah, I just got myself a Mono Hudson GM for $600 bucks which would cost $1800++ brand new...
Oh well, what ever fits well with my student budget.
The limited budget of the "poor" student.
*grin*
