buy new, or buy gently used for a huge savings?

Pardon my silly question, but what exactly qualifies as 'huge savings' in terms of LV pricing (besides the obvious half-price deals, that is)?

Would saving $380 on something like the Nimbus PM be considered a 'huge saving'?

i only buy used. I'll buy new when my individual income hits $150k---if it doesn't, I won't. Sure, I may have the $ now to buy new, but to me it is really stupid because i don't make enough to justify the percentage yet.
