I am surprised that there aren't more listed on eBay. When the WC White Speedy 30/35 was released, Ebay was flooded with them. I wonder if the WC Brown is really more limited?

OMG - the bidding on the Watercolor 30 - ended early . (started at 1300)
I could just cry. I can barely type because I am so upset.

But the winner is super lucky

I wonder why the seller chose not to let the auction run? I am sure that there are a lot of disappointed bidders out there! The winner got a deal compared to what these have been selling for on eBay!

I was waiting until the end to bid also. :(

However, I hope whomever got the bag loves it & models it for us!

$1675 is more than a fair price for that bag. I got my white one for $1650 on eBay.

Paying over $2000 for an $1150 canvas speedy is kind of insane.

^^Is it $1150 (maybe in HI)? I thought it's $1270 (in the US)?

Anyway, since it looks like the bag was purchased in Japan.. the actual price is a little higher compared to the prices in the US.

And IF the seller in a fellow pfer, I guess she knows how much is a reasonable price for that bag-- that's why she ended it early. If I'm right.. then that is so nice of her to do it... I just wish I bid on it and she ended it at $1400-1500.. LOL

ITA, twochubbycheeks.

IIRC, the seller was someone from tPF. I read it in another thread. So, her ending it early was fair, honest & very admirable, imo.

well.. as it turns out.. the buyer is making a profit out of the opportunity of having the sz 30

That's sad. I feel sorry for the original seller. That buyer is a greedy SOB!

And I feel bad for all the possible owners here. It's a shame. I doubt that buyer will get any profit for selling it for $2K. Unless they're desperate.

I saw that too!!! I sent here a question & asked did she buy the bag from another ebayer & she said yes, but she paid $1900 for it, & the seller billed her for the amount over what it ended at so she would save in fees. I don't believe that!!! Even though I want this bag, I would never pay $2250 for it, & I hope noone else does either!!!
