From my experience (in store) they generally don't give you the box unless you ask, or have been shopping with an SA for a while that knows you like to have them etc.

I never cared much about boxes until recently when my closet 'overflowed'. I then went to an LV boutique and asked for boxes. Not only they gave me, they gave me the correct box for each bag! Now I store most of my LVs in boxes stacked outside the closet and the rest of my bags in the closet. I guess you just have to ask and it works better if you know a SA or a regular at that particular boutique. Good luck!

LV is trying to go "green" ... so just ask for it when you purchase.

I guess it just all depends on the store location. The boxes are free however. Next time just ask for it. It won't be a problem, and if it is then I suggest you find another store. I remember my first purchase I didn't realize I had to ask, when the sa came back without the items in a box I just nicely asked him to do so and it wasn't a problem.

yes, boxes are free.. and in my experience at all LV boutiques i've been to in different continents, small accessories / pochettes always came with appropriate boxes.. however, for bigger purses, i do almost always have to ask for a box (if i remembered to!), but regardless of whether LV purchases come with a box or not, i always come home happy..

I have always received a box with my purchase. When traveling, however, it is easier not to get the box with your purchase.

Just ask when you purchase, most of the time if they have them they will gladly give them to you. I usually love boxes, but the more bags I buy, the less space I have and it's actually working out better to not have boxes (more space for bags )

Well, you have to ask for it.They usually only give dust bag.
Whenever I buy a bag from them I will ask for one.
Next time remember to ask for one.

Just ask for one. It's free. Usually if u mention it as a gift/present, they'll packed ur item with a box.
But i do agree with Flipper. More boxes means less storage space
