in August. It will carry purses and accessories, but no shoes. Interesting info: LV tracks ALL shipments by zipcodes. A high level of shipments means a market for the product. They look to see if there is a store in the area and if not, viola, one is slated (depending on the amount being sent to the surrounding zip codes). Apparently, we are a BIG LV buying area, lol. But, we all know that there is money in Baltimore; now we just need the upscale lines to figure it out!

Thanks! I was wondering when this LV was going to open. I live in Ellicott City so I don't have an LV near me and I freaked out when I saw it in Towson Mall

Towson has been totally revamped! I went up last weekend to visit some old friends and couldn't believe my eyes. I went to college in baltimore and we always had to go down to chevy chase whenever we wanted a fix. Congrats you guys!

The Towson Mall has really expanded. They've gotten quite a few new upscale stores recently. I live in Bel Air, so I'm not all that far from Towson. I've been watching and waiting for the new LV store to open. I always wondered why we didn't have one near here, there's certainly the clientele to support one.

Nice! Last time I was in the Baltimore area I also had to drive all the way out to Chevy Chase to get my bag. Now I know where to go when I'm in Baltimore next time.

This is good and bad news. No more driving to Chevy Chase, but also probably more money flying out of my bank account (and my boyfriend's--heehee).

Maybe I can get a part time job there...

Update! I was in Towson today and spied lots of work going on with painting and getting the new store ready to go!

I even peeked and saw some bags already placed on the top-most display shelves already. But too much brown paper on the windows to really see anything. The store looks nice!!!!

Can't wait! When is the grand opening and when do I get my invite???

i have been on this for over a year. they originally had an august open but thought it would open sooner-clearly it didn't. it was so bad i heard it announced on the radio on monday that it was opening...NOT! my SA in chevy chase said once the store is open you can ask to be put on a list (but the invites come from corporate and are chosen randomly- or based on your delivery schedule:). the grand opening is slated for september. hope to see you there!

There was a full page ad in the Baltimore Sun yesterday. So, we sauntered over yesterday to check it out. The store had a soft opening yesterday and it is beautiful. No shoes or clothes, but bags, bags and accessories. Just a lovely store. I didn't buy anything; just looking. I expect that there will be a grand opening soon.

I was in Towson running errands on the 8th and they were busy painting (touch-ups, I guess) and had the brown paper covering half of the glass...guess they finished it up and opened! Can't wait to see it from the inside!
