OK guys I need some advice! LVBabyDoll said this one looked good yesterday:

DON'T DO IT!!!
This is a way that scammers keep their FB good. If she sends you a fake bag instead of the one in the picture then you don't have much recourse.
This happened to me - I bought a bag (through Ebay) that was a bait and switch - but she had 100% FB - then I found out that lots of TPFers had bought from her but went through paypal so they couldn't leave negative FB.
This seller of yours should WANT to go through ebay if she wants to be protected as well.

Ack, no, do NOT do that!
That's one of the number one things to watch out for is when a seller requests payment outside of ebay. You are NOT covered if you pay that way like you would be if you went directly through ebay to Paypal. :no:

Thanks Nyria, I knew I could count on you for an honest opinion! She has offered me her home phone # and address, but when I saw she wanted to go outside of Ebay, I got a feeling in my stomach.....so you think I did the right thing? I did a search of her on here and it didn't turn up anything.

Ugh, well you're going to have to email the seller and see if they'll let you off the hook for paying. Whatever you do though, don't ignore it, they'll be able to file a Non Paying Bidder Alert on you and that's definitely not good.

Her reason is quite weird, "because it's less than what she has up" on there. It's not hard to change the total on the ebay invoice so I don't know why she just doesn't do that.
Anyway, just stay away from this one, too many red flags.

Something is weird about those pics - they have the ebay watermark on them but she put them on with html so she had to have copied them off another listing...
