Please post authenticity questions related to Louis Vuitton in this thread. Please use the below format when requesting authentication for an auction item: Item Name: Item Number: Seller ID: Link: If the bag in question is not on an auction site, please use the following: Item Name (if you know it): Link (if available): then attach any photos. Item Name (if you know it): LV Dustbag Link (if available): - Dear LV Ladies - my friend has bought the Dustbag you will see in the attached photos from a reputable LV seller who says it hails from Japan and that she has a dustbag like it for her Keepall from '89. Now, for as far as I knew, the older style dustbags are the nice soft ones that you want to bury your face in, with either a nice soft blue or brown drawstring. This thing feels very rough and almost like a very thick papery type material that if you pulled too hard would rip. But the colour of the bag and the LV logo look ok. Anyone seen anything like this? Thank you sooooooo much for all the useful information and details you have provided to me. Your services and best intentions to help out are really kind and very educational. Yes, indeed I was concerned about the issue with the one or two pockets on the LV Summit Drive, as the retail LV online store only shows one pocket, while the one bag you authenticated for me and I purchased from ebay has two pockets, one for a cell phone, and, one bigger pocket. Now, I am a bit confused......you said there SHOULD indeed be two pockets? If so, mine has the two...so, I am content with your authentication. But then, the actual LV website shows only one pocket. Hence, I believe I should refer to your past statement that LV posts prototypes and bag variations on their website, correct? Thus, do not not always compare the products from the LV website to LV website on sale elsewhere, like on ebay.......interesting point. I never knew that.... Many thanks again, lvbabydoll for all your time and diligence! I greatly appreciate it and feel comfortable now with my purchase of the Summit Drive:)! Thanks to YOU of course:):):)):):):)!!!!! |
