The date code actually wasn't engraved well, compared with other Multicolore Speedy I've ever seen. The one shown on the picture was actually the complete date code, I had tried to make it clearer, but that was the best I could get.
I'll try again & post it here, along with heat stamp pic on the hanging tag

Well, it's possible that they know someone who works there...it just means that there was something very minor that was wrong with the bag somewhere (not flawed, but something as simple as a scratch on a zipper pull or patina-ed leather), and it was sent to the employee sale. The circle just means that it can't be returned to the store for full price.

Not sure about the top numbers but the bottom ones mean it was made in February of 1984.
