Hello & Welcome to the 5th Summary Thread this time for Spring Summer 09

This is the COMMENTS thread, please add any conversations, questions, information to this thread I will gather and organise the pic summary thread with the updates.

Once again I'd like to give a giant THANK YOU to everyone who helps make these things possible with your information, and of course spy pics! I couldn't do it without you all so I really do mean it when I say thank you!

Remeber please do not add any comments to the PICS thread thank you

Before anyone asks we currently we have no names, prices or release date info (or indeed pics lol) thank you for your patience it will take approx 3 months for those kind of details.

i've seen some runway photos already and its got a very strong African theme to it. totally different from what we've become accustomed to. some bags were quilted like Chanel or ethnic like 80's YSL with feathers and large dangly beads. i don't know what i think about them just yet. but they all have potential

im sure a lot would go "EWWWWW!!!" but as with every season, people's opinions change as soon as the actual bags appear on the shelves. this is going to be another very interesting season.

Reminds me of MJ's show, in similar style just that LV had an African influence while his had an American influence.

can't see pics as i'm out at min *grr* can't wait sounds interesting as long as it's better than Hermes which can't be too hard, seen that yet? very wild west & not in a good way

I see vibrant colors and mixtures of different materials e.g. feathers, tassels, python skin etc. Many items have that strong gaudy 80's feel and ethnic look to them.

Very interesting, but I'll wait to see more before I judge. So far, nothing is wowing me yet, unlike Prada SS09, their shoes and handbags are mind-blowing.

Python is gonna be big this season

Posted about this at tFs already but the more I look at it the more I want to say!! Just WOW. Fantastic. MJ really did an amazing job.. not that he doesn't always, but S/S09 for LV is just so well done. There is a lot going on with all the colour and detail but everything looks so great!! Very chic & rich. I feel like with every piece you would notice something new about it the more you look... I love the detail! And the shoes are an absolute work of art! They are SO sexy!!
