ITA can't wait to see the new cruise! Tribal is a good spin off from recent uber luxe feel, but don't think i can pull it off.

Those beads make these bags look like craft projects... Not really liking anything.

for a closer look at one of the bags, one made it's way to ebay. It is definately pony hair which is possibly bad news, here go the balding issues again

That's the one I like but the bigger version. Yes, I remembered the balding pony hair issue... sigh... LV never learn.

except for the ponyhair which is a concern, although its on the sides which would have the least contact, that "Editor's Swag" bag on eBay actually looks pretty good. the colours are vibrant and the contrast works. very 80's and not so tribal/ethnic. quite promising.

^^^ I agree, I am getting more of an 80s vibe the more I look at these pics on Ebay. However, that isn't my style at all so that may count me out. I feel like that really dates the bags, not in a literal sense, but just for me personally. I cannot believe I am going to say this as I love color, prints and bold graphics (also I found F/W to be a total bore) but I think for this collection to work for me it will need to be watered down a little, KWIM?

Has anyone heard anything else about Sofia Coppola's collab w/ LV? I'm dying to see her new SC bag. Is it available in both the leather and mono or just leather? Anyone know? I heard they're releasing in Dec!

^^^Excellent question, I am also curious about this. I thought I saw a thread about this, but I was just searching and couldn't find it. I am off to LV today, so I will ask my LV-if I find anything out I will be sure to report back!

from what i understand, they will only offer it in Mongram canvas to the public. the dark leather version on her lap is her personal prototype. but i could prob be way off the mark.
