& Congrats on your Azur 30! To prevent uneven patina, some of us treat the vachetta with Apple Guard, Shiney Monkey, Wilson, Cadillac Care, or Kiwi brand. Let lotion/perfume dry/set then touch the bag, remember to switch side when you carry; even exposure to sun is also key factor to even patina. in the unfortunate event that the leather get dirty/stained, baby wipe, saddle/ivory soap, mr.clean or white eraser can help you remove, the key is react asap!

Selena had put together a fantastic Q&A about vachetta and treatment, great for starters!
