Rumour or fact?

There's been some speculation on here that LV will be producing a Grenade Speedy. Is this based on fact or just a rumour as asked a SA today if they were going to produce a speedy in this colour and she was

. She then asked another SA who was similarly

So...is it just a rumour or did the information come from a LV SA? And if so, any idea when they would be arriving in store?

I did hear this same rumor a little while back, I can't remember where. Maybe try doing a search on some of the F/W 2008/09 threads or maybe the general forum? It would be beautiful and I might have to get one if it comes out. I love the color.
By the way, is that a Shiba Inu in your avatar? I have one too. No one ever knows what breed he is!

When I was trying to decide between the epi Alma in Cassis or Grenade, my SA told me to wait til Fall for a Grenade bag - the Speedy would be coming out in epi Grenade. He was estimating October. I totally trust him - he's been with LVMH for 8 years. Sometimes I get advance notice of stuff from TPF before he does, but when he gives ME the info, he has the right info!

I know that a New Orleans SA confirmed CASSIS speedy 30; said it was in the book.
No mention of the grenade though.

Yes it's a Shiba - my wee boy "Kai".

He's nearly 5 now but still as daft as a brush! Loves his cuddles and can catch a fly in mid-air (though he's not a natural hunter as such..unless it's an insect or spider).

I've had him called a "Japanese Husky" as well as the usual "oh, is it a fox?" I even had a gentleman say I needed a license for a wild fox and took me ages to convince him Kai was actually a breed of dog originally from Japan!

Wouldn't be without him though - I take it you're the same with your Shiba? [male or female...age, name etc?].

Oh I really hope they have the speedy in grenade as I cancelled my order for the Alma in that colour as I wasn't loving the style 100% and with the price increase recently decided it "wasn't me". I know I could use the speedy every day (compared to the Alma which I don't think I would) though

Yes- it's true. I actually saw a grenade speedy at the Ross Park Mall near Pittsburgh last week. It is stunning!

Yes only speedy 25 will come out in grenade in the epi line.
