are rolled handles on tivoli gm like looping bag collection?

hi everyone (^_^)

the tivoli gm is on my wishlist mainly because of the wide zip top opening, the size is perfect, the pleats are gorgeous, the functionality of the bag & i love monogram canvas...

but i did own the mini looping bag, and hated the rolled handles over my shoulders. sometimes it felt uncomfortable.

i have the speedy & the rolled handles aren't a problem because it's hand held-but i'd want the tivoli gm to wear over shoulder...

so is it not a good idea because it's got the rolled handles like the looping collection?

what are your thoughts?

IMO they are very similar. They are both rolled handles.

I think there are pass threads that said rolled handles are uncomfortable on the shoulders regardless of bags styles so guess it would be the same

p.s I think 2 rolled handles may not be uncomfortable as one. Personally I am okay with rolled handles on shoulder

I was soooo obsessed over this bag and finally got it about 2-3 weeks ago. The rolled handles don't bother me but what does is the weight of the bag! It is so darn HEAVY!!! Also, the zipper is not fluid. There have been other posts about these complaints as well. If I were you I would try it out in the store with your things in it. I don't carry a lot with me but the bag is seriously heavy. It is so beautiful, though, so I haven't returned it.....YET. I'm not totally sure if I should keep it or not.

wow, this input really helps! thanks so much. i would love to have this bag, the shape is so pretty & femme fatale like...but i'm really peculiar about the weight of things-and i carry ALOT of things, so thanks for the heads up on this! guess i can change my wishlist, but i will try the bag on w/my stuff in it when i do get a chance.

i just purchae one too, it is a rolled handle, and also have looping , so i compared the two , in my opininon the looping 's handle is more uncomfortable and harder than the tivoli and i love the tivoli, and agreed on the heavyness , but it was sure a gorgeous bag and loving mine.!!

I don't think tivoli's rolled handle are uncomfortable at all... I actually think it's more comfortable than my vernis columbus, which is flat straps. Because then the bag is heavy, flat straps fees quite heavy whereas rolled handles are better, IMO.

As for the zipper problem, I used some candle wax, and it's perfect and smooth now.
