Question about little buttons on the speedy

Hello everyone,I have a speedy mono 35 and a damier ebony 30.The little buttons that say louis vuitton on the handles,zipper pull etc. on the 35 are a flatter and the letters are spaced a little more,my damiers buttons are more puffy or rounded,letters closer together,is it because it is a smaller bag?I thought all the brass buttons on any size speedy would be the same both bags were purchased at the boutique.I cant get pictures right now,but if anyone has both can they check??Also I have had the 35 since christmas,how long does it take to patina naturally??Thank you so much
