It is big enough, but I was in LV this passed weekend to buy one and ended up with the MM, it is the perfect size and only $50 more. I would recommend the MM..it is perfect!

It can be used as a shoulder bag, but you have to have smaller arms. Also, you might now be able to get it on your shoulder if you're wearing a really heavy coat.

Synthetic,
I am 5'2 and approx. 135 lbs. I own the PM version and it is the PERFECT size. It looks large on my frame but isn't as long as the MM would be at our height. When the PM is cinched at the sides, I never have trouble with the sides coming undone and I think the extra material of the MM and GM sizes may cause that commonly-discussed problem insomuch as the length allows for more awkward folds and sinking in while in use.
PM looks really nice on the crook of the arm and handheld. I have a feeling if I had bought the MM and tried to hold it, being as short as I am, it would drag on the floor! For some reason, PM gets a bad reputation but it really is a nice bag for people of our stature, at least.

This pic is of the Neverfull MM.

I think the PM is too small for my needs. It is even smaller if you cinch up the sides of the PM. It would be best to view the Neverfull bags at the store to see which would work best for you. Sizing also depends on the needs of the individual user. If you don't carry much with you, then the PM might work for you. I'm 5'3" and have the MM size which I love. I bought a pre-owned PM Neverfull and only used it once before selling it to a friend of a friend. It was too small for me!
