Default NEED TO KNOW about LV JOSEPHINE Line

Hi Ladies,

I've been reasearching a lot on LV lines, especially the damier, MC and monogram lines, and then I saw the LV Josephine PM (I've been searching forever for my 1st pre-loved LV) but the thing is I can't find anything about this particular line in the LV website... I've also tried google but no luck...

anyway what do I need to know about them? when were they introduced... and what kind of material is used?

I'm getting one but not sure whether to get the khaki or cherry, (the cherry is a bit dirty though)... and I think the khaki will be less maintenance as I have a 9 month old... help.

Thanks girls,
Nina

The line you are referring to is actually Mini Monogram, not Josephine. They were introduced quite a few years back, how many I am not sure but I believe it was discontinued in 2005/2006. It has since been replaced with Mini Lin. The material is treated fabric.

I have the khaki (green) colour josephine in the bigger size and I highly recommend that colour. I got it in 2003 and it still looks new (get lots of compliments on it when I remember to use it). I chose the khaki because it seemed to match with most of my clothing and I didn't think it would look dirty - I have spilt many things on it (lattes, etc) and you can't tell at all. When I first got it, I used it mainly for school so it does hold a fair amount and is quite sturdy. I did find the handles were comfortable to carry on the shoulder (as opposed to some other LVs) and didn't slip off the shoulder.

If you have any specific questions about the bag, let me know and I can pull mine out and do my best to answer your questions...just pm me if you want.

Good luck on deciding; it is a great bag...
