Need help on LV GM Ellipse Shopper

Hi, I am have some questions about the large size version of the Vuitton Ellipse M51128. I know that this size has been discontinued but any info would help, i.e. how long was it manufactured, when was it discontinued and what was the last retail price. Thank you ladies, my expertise is in the Bottega and Dior lines, I only have a few LVs SO FAR!

My mom got hers in around late 1998, so that's about when it was made. It wasn't made for too long, probably less than a year. Retail was about $900 something I think...I don't think I have the receipt in my receipt notebook but I'll check again.

LVBabydoll - Thank you so much. My friend thought is was $1800 but that didn't sound right to me from 10 years ago. Especially that the monogram limited editions aren't even that high now. If you are able to confirm I would really appreciate it.
