Question Manon or: the long search for the perfect shoulder bag...

I have to face it: when it comes to the perfect everyday bag I am thinking about a shoulder bag- I love speedies and I certainly would love a Saleya pm but on an everyday basis I need a bag able to go on my shoulder.

As the Galleria has no zipper but vachetta I am really interested in the new Manon (I was told that it now might come in october) which has a zipper.
But I wonder- is mini lin suitable for autumn/winter with rain, snow and wind? Is the material holding up well? Is the design unique enough?

Who else is considering this bag? I am not buying before I hear about upcoming styles for autumn but that might take a while...makes me nervous to think that there might be a great damier bag around the corner!

The Trevi is a great-looking bag. To me its has a certain Victorian feel to it, must be the colours and the shape.
The Manon is a nice-looking bag too; you can spray it with one of those sprays to make it impervious to rain etc.

The Manon was originally scheduled to be released August 1st. Was the date pushed back to October? (A number of the releases originally scheduled for July 1st were pushed back to July 12th...)

I think the Tulum is the perfect LV shoulder bag. Has a sturdy strap, soft shape, secure zipper, and is a really good size.
