I can try to take a look at mine if you can give me more info on what the leather tab looks like and where it's located (my bag was bought around 2004 or 2005 - not exactly sure)

Thanks for your response! The leather tab can be found at the middle seam of the front, close to the frame. (underneath the long strip of leather that holds the s-lock) It was designed to aid pulling the frame. As it is with mine, I need to pull both handles in opposite directions to open the frame. The newer versions have this leather tab that you can hold onto. I was wondering if the older versions didn't have this.

I just checked. My bag has the tab, so it must be the newer version? However, when I bought it, the SA told me the way to open the bag was to pull at the handles...
![]() so now my handles have some creases on them because of the pulling. To be honest I did not even notice the little tab nor it's purpose! |
