Identify This LV!!!

This is such a great idea for a thread!

Trying to figure out what the name of the bag I looked at yesterday was. I foolishly forgot to ask and now I really want to know, so I can ask about it on tPF. It is epi leather. Its a clutch shape and size, with the triangular clasp and a thin matching short strap that can be detached . I think the price was either 760 or 790 at Saks. Fingers crossed that you LV experts will know. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me what the name of this bag is? If possible I'm curious about the year it was released. If any further information is known, I'd love to know that too! Thanks!

That's the Luco tote. Not sure when it was released but I believe it's discontinued now.

It's definitely discontinued, not sure as of what year though. I think it came out in the late 1990's (about 1998/1999-ish).

Wow, if that's the case then the previous owner must have kept it in the closet, because I bought it in excellent condition. There are absolutely no stains or signs of wear, just a nice patina on the handles.

The last time I saw it was in 2003-2004. So I'm thinking it was discontinued after that.

hi this is my first post i've been looking on net for more info on a lv bag a friend has given me.could you please help me, it's brown with a gold clasp inside is a tag with m55563 on it ..

Well in this case, they could very well have been discontinued but were still available in stores. They still keep discontinued styles out for awhile so they are given plenty of time to sell (they don't just take them off the shelves after it happens)...I remember when they discontinued the Cabas Alto, I saw it for at least a year after it had been discontinued.

Yes, I agree. I was just stating that it was PROBABLY around 2003-2004 that they were discontinued. This was just my guess since this was around the last time I saw this design.

I did a little searching and it looks like it was discontinued in 2006! I didn't know it was *that* recent!
