Great News! Damier Eva/Sophie to be released this Sept!! rop

Just got back from the LV store where I returned my Eva...

I asked the SA if it will ever come out in damier and she said "Yes! This September!" She also said that it wont be the Eva in damier, but it will be the Sophie. She said it was currently only available in Hawaii and Japan, etc..

I asked to be put on the wait list for it and she said that she will call me 2 weeks before the launch (so like middle of August) to confirm and get my cc info.

She also said the price will be more expensive then the Eva, as they will be going thru a PRICE INCREASE before September!! So she guesstimated it will be about $550.

I am absolutly thrilled!!! I love the Eva but I want it in Damier! i thought the Sophie was sold out and discontinued but I guess they saw how popular it was and are bringing it back!! I can not wait!!!

Ugh. This sucks.

If they initially released it as a limited edition for Japan and Hawaii, why didn't they just keep it this way instead of releasing it everywhere a year later? LV is really irritating me now...of course they only do this with the Damier but not the monogram

It seems like less than 50% of what they say is LE is ACTUALLY LE now.

Wow, this is good news for me because I wanted the sophie and did not want the eva in mono.

Bad news about the price increase though :(

Are they also bringing the Sophie back in mono or only Damier? Sucks about the price increase though, I think it was about $400 something when it was in Hawaii?

Why didn't they just design another small bag that is similar? That way the Sophie would have remained special

I posted a thread with pics of jap magazine LVs and sophie in damier is in there..but since I'm a rookie, I can't seem to find it...sorry~
I still like eva in mono better tho...I just like the dark brown straps on sophie damier~
price increase?!!?!! damn...another excuse for me to buy my wishlist items soon!!! heehee =)

I have a Sophie Damier and do wish that LV would release a slightly different version to keep my bag more special. Oh well, I got it at retail in Hawaii and love using it regardless. I hope this means it will come out in Azur eventually. I remember someone posting a pic here from a mag of Sophie Azur many months ago.
