^^^chocolate brown just recently came out, it should be a while before they discontinue that. :)

My SA also told me that black/noir was going to be discontinued. I had planned to purchase this beautiful bag in L in early September. Hopefully it will still be one available for me. If not, I guess I will get it in chocolate.

I called LV today and was told that the Mahina L in black, currently on my wishlist, is at this time still apart of their permanent collection. I'm starting to wonder if some SA's say things to sell a bag cause this is the 3rd bag I've liked that was under speculation that was going to be discontinued, only to find out they just had low stock. Lol!

I agree! I have had alot of sa's tell me a item is going away and then I buy it only to find out it was just low stock! I fall for it every time.

There are at least 100 black Mahina XL available in the US- my SA did a computer search for me today so there is no need to panic. She said the black is part of the permanent collection and is not being discontinued- only the elephant at this time. She showed me a picture of the Mahina East/West- neither of us were impressed.

BTW, the black sequin Alma, Speedy and pochette new for F/W were on display- TDF x bazillion!!! OMG- the leather is like buttah!

I also hope XL in black doesn't get discontinued. I've been waiting for it since June in Vancouver! There are tons of L's in black even now but the SA's won't tell me if XL in black will be available in fall months...

I spoke to my SA today and she never heard of getting rid of black. She only heard of eliminating the XXL

I believe you can still order it even though they may be sold out from time to time at the store. My SA told me I could order the Mahina L in Chocolate if it is not available at the store I want to go to but it won't arrive for several weeks. No rush for me so it depends on how impatient one is to have it.

I called LV this week, because I heard about the same rumours and I wanted to get the Mahine XL noir for my graduation next year. And she confirmed me that the Mahine XL black isn't in production anymore.

I don't know about the S and L. She also told me that's because of the new one (Lunar).
I can't understand why they stop the black one. Black is the most basic color!

I've checked with my SA, that XS & L in Noir (Black) still have the stock and it's permanent.

But the XL in Noir already discontinued and they'll keep selling it until clear all the stock.
So XL only come with the Mahogany colour right now, hope it's help.
