there are speedy exhibitions in germany's stores. miroir speedies in 35 are sold there exclusively.

Here's my thread about my gold miroir speedy. The pics are on the first page so you don't need to read it it's an old thread now. I didn't use my gold as much as the silver and I didn't overload or stress them it just happened. The lockit is OK because the structured base gives a little more support I guess this will be the same with the Alma

Argh!! Something weird happening to my Miroir!!!!

Hi Label Addict, thanks very much for the information and very sorry to hear what happened to your Goldie.

Now, I am afraid this will also happen to the new Alma, hope LV will do something to improve it, because I really like the miroir line...........

My SA called me yesterday and confirmed that the Miroir Alma that is going to be released in December will be the same size as that of the Vernis Alma. Unfortunately, she didn't have any other information regarding the bag. She did promise to call just as soon as she finds out anything about the price. I'm wait listed for both a silver and gold Alma but because they're going to be extremely limited, my SA doesn't think that I'll be able to get both colors. Therefore, she asked me what my first and second color choices were.

The Alma has a structered bottom, just like the Lockit, so I don't think that the new Miroir Alma will have any issues.

I wish it was smaller like the regular size Alma.

The Vernis Alma MM is too big for me.

Are you stating that in Germany, the Miroir Speedys from the December 2006 collection are still being sold there? It's my understanding that the Miroir Speedys from that collection were limited in production, with only about 1,500 or so of the bags being produced and distributed worldwide. The larger and global LV boutiques only received a handful of the Miroir Speedys, with the majority of them only receiving 1 - 2 bags in each color, if that many at all.

Divingcandie, I'll definitely post any other updates that I receive from my SA regarding the Miroir Alma. As far as she knows, the bag is still on schedule to be released in early December. I also wish that the new Miroir Alma was going to be released in the smaller size as well. I've yet to see the Vernis Alma in person so I'm going to stop by an LV store to see how the MM size looks and feels.

no, 2006 were size 30 speedies. the ones being sold in germany are size 35. they're not from 2006, they are new.

This is interesting as the Miroir Speedys from 2006 were in between that of the 30 - 35 in size. Do you have any other information on these new Miroir Speedys such as the style number and price? I just called LV Customer Service here in the US and they don't have any information regarding a new Miroir Speedy 35.

The miroir speedies I saw in Munch LV were size 35 and they are limited and are being offered for 2 weeks only with only a few days left. After that unsold bags are returned to LV Paris. The price is 1250 Euros.

OK, it looks like the Miroir Speedy 35 was only released in Europe as LV Customer Service here in the US doesn't have any information on this bag. I agree with some of the posters in the other thread about how releasing the Miroir Speedy 35 lessens the exclusivity or L.E. status for those that purchased a Miroir Speedy 30 back in November 2006. For others, this means good news, especially if they weren't able to acquire a Miroir Speedy back in '06. For me, any Speedy 35 is too large to use as an every day bag and unfortunately, that's the current trend these days... LV releasing Speedy 35s in the newer collections.
