Dustbag Question

I recently acquired an older Mono Speedy 30--it was made in 2000--from a friend. I actually remember when she purchased it from LV Union Square, as she is the one who introduced me to LV back then But, the dustbag she gave me looks like one of the ones those scammers use. It is brown with only LV on it. Did LV ever use dustbags like this? Or did she just give me the one that did not come with her bag? TIA!

Yes! My large Monogram Bucket bag was purchased in the fall of 2001 from the LV boutique in Copenhagen and it has a tan colored flannel dustbag with a drawstring closure and LV printed in brown near the bottom. If I can find it I'll post a pic;-)

I think it is real. The old dustbag is thicker and darker in colour with only LV on it.

Started from 2005 if I'm not mistaken, LV started to give the yellow dust bag with the writing of LOUIS VUITTON. Colour and model i like the new one, but material wise, the old one is better.

Actually I bought a Speedy 30 in March 2004 and had received the same brown/fuzzy dust bag as pictured, so that dust bag has been around at least since 2004 or maybe longer!

The older one is thicker but softer.

I have a darker dustbag too-it's a bit thicker than what they have out now. I probably bought my papillion 19 about 5-6 years ago and it came with the darker dustbag so it should be real!
