i called the local lv store and neiman marcus both seemed unaware of the bag coming in soon (like tomorrow-july 15th). is this normal for the SA's to either not know or be unwilling to part with info? y'all are always a wealth of information so i figure someone on tPF will know what's going on ...

They should definitely know by now whether they will be getting the bag or not. If they are getting the bag, it will only be the 35 size since you are in the mainland US.

I know when it was first found out they would be releasing the brown wc, a lot of SA's didn't know about it. Considering it's already July 14th and the official release date is tomorrow, they should definitely know about it by now.

Apparently 140 brown wc's were released on July 12th (I guess a Pre-Official Launch Date Release). *shrug*

I was really confused by this too. I was put on waitlist without an official date of release. I read diff dates here on the forum and saw people saying July 12th and July 15th. So on Sat July 12th i gave my store a call, the fellow said they were released that day but didn't recieve any shipment. Then finally Sunday (yesterday) i called my SA directly and she said they are running a week late on shipment so they will be here "next week". She said nothing about tomorrow, Tuesday's REAL release date. She said for me not to worry cuz i am up there at the top of the list. I'm just being really impatient now. I'm starting to have dreams about this sucker.haha.

Yes, I got a call yesterday from one of the three LV boutiques I was waitlisted at. An SA was just following up with me to confirm I still wanted the bag. I suppose they are whittling down the waitlist. I had her promise she was going to guarantee me one. It's the same LV boutique I got another white WC 30 from. I have not heard anything at all from the other two LV boutiques I am waitlisted at.

She said the official release date was July 15th. Although the TPF'er who owns the brown WC 30 in another thread was able to get hers even before July 12th from the LV at Waikoloa (on another island here in Hawaii). LV confuses me.

I called everyday since Sat, 12th.

My SA originally told me they gonna get it before 12th, and show to general public before I can get it on 12th. Now, they have not yet receive the shipment... Not even today,I called this morning again....:(
