My SA warned me that if I use hand sanitizer to make sure my hands are completely dry before I touch the vachetta. Apparently one of the ingredients can cause the leather to crack after repeated exposure. It makes sense since there's typically alcohol in them.

I just got a mono Speedy so I was pleased to find out since I'm a hand sanitizer junkie; especially after touching grocery carts. LOL

Thanks for sharing. I use hand sanitizer all the time because I teach sixth grade.
