gawd it only sucks cos when after it's patina'd (is this a verb or a noun lol) people come and ask if it's a fake. i've had 3 people ask me in the past week!! gosh don't make fun of my aging speedy

Uh oh, I keep my bags in the dustbag and in the box so I can stack them without squishing the bag underneath...but I don't have any cracking on my bags, they seem to be fine.

all the "vachette" part will patina, slow or fast will depend. on the azur, it will be the handles, the tabs, and the trim will patina. HTH

So does LV with patina consider beautiful? Does it similar to red wine or cheese that the longer it ages the better? Sorry mine is only one month old, I have never seen patina before..

it depends on people references. some like to keep them as light as possible. some even want to speed up the patina process. however, i think most people want it to be at "honey" color and evenly

new vechette, no patina yet

i personally like this "evenly honey" and want to block it like that FOEVER if i can

i dont want this, gonna be "black" soon, and uneven

Love this thread, definitely made me laugh a little!

I just let my LV patina through the natural process. I have never added lotions or any such thing and they all patina nicely over time.
