Goodness, what an awful thing to happen to your bag but then what fabulous customer service you received as a result! Mind you that's exactly what should have happened, but after all the so-so reports you hear about LV CS I share your relief that you didn't need to fight your case!

Those skinny straps are supposed to take over 250lbs or something, so there's no way that should have happened. Let's hope it's an isolated case and that your new one remains perfect forever.

I believe you can take it to an LV store and have them reseal the edges. It shouldn't crack like that after 3 months. I've had mine since Apr and no issues so far

glad everything worked out for you! i know how you feel about not getting the same respect as other people. im 20 but look alot younger, and i dont have a regular sa so nobody ever bothers to assist me when i go to a boutique =(

hi cari284, i was just wondering - how is the new bag holding up? no more peeling? i'm really considering buying an nf damier...the posts about quality strap issues are making me think twice though.

congrats on getting a new bag without any fuss! :) i was wondering how your new bag is doing? i'm debating on a neverfull damier but i've been hearing about straps issues alot. is your new one any better?

Hi everyone

I'm sorry I haven't been able to answer but I've been abroad. Well.. Time for an update.

This time I've been very careful and I have had the bag on a purse hook when I don't use it so that the straps will be straight and want fall on to the sides. But although, I have noticed that they are beginning to crack on the straps inner side again.. They haven't peeled as much as before but they are cracking.

I don't want to admit it to myself, because I really really love the bag.. But I really don't think it's supposed to be this way

And I have no idea if I will be able to exchange it once more..
