Default Roxbury Vernis with Patina
Hi everyone! New poster, but I lurk and search and looove seeing everyone's beautiful bags!

I think I might have the opportunity to get my dream LV bag this fall.... the Roxbury Drive in Pomme d'Amour (which I know is being discontinued, I hope to find one quickly!) I saw this bag on a real estate agent in Florida (she was showing us the house) and totally could not take my eyes off of it!

So, I've done all the searches and uncovered what information I can. I like that the Vernis appears to be rather durable...which is a relief. I LOVE the Pomme d'Amour color, and the Roxbury shape is perfect for evenings out.

But. My one concern is the vachetta leather on the handles turning extra dark... or all the vachetta getting its natural patina. Has anyone noticed if the handles "dirty" quicker? Also, How does the patina look with the roxbury? Does anyone have any pics of their 1year+ roxbury drive? The older the roxbury the better, I want to see how this bag "ages" over time!

THANKS!!

I thought the Pomme color was being discontinued, not the Roxbury. Somebody correct me on this.

Thanks! I have looked through almost all the vernis and roxybury clubs, but they almost all seem to be brand new bags, not ones that have been around. There are some that show patina on vernis bags, but I'm look for patina/handle information on the roxbury drive specifically. Its been my dream bag for so long....

i can't find a picture of a pomme roxbury with patina, but i've attached some pictures of a perle and noisette roxbury with patina for your reference. pictures are taken from let-trade and interesthing respectively.

also, if you hand-carry the roxbury more often, the handles will darken more at the part where you're carrying it. for that reason, i usually carry it on my shoulder. lol, hope this makes sense!

Ah! THANK YOU! This is exactly what I was looking for... although if anyone has any other pictures of their Roxbury that they've had for awhile...please show! I really want to know how this bag "ages".

This is my dreaaaam bag, but I would like to use it slightly worry-free!
