Possible to have older LV heatstamped?
Hi all, I'm just wondering if it is possible to have an old LV luggage tag heatstamped. Can I just go into the store and ask them to do it?
I bought a small one for my speedy last yr and had it done but at the time I purchased my speedy they gave me this card, do I need one of those to have it done? Thanks tpfers!! |

yes! when i bought my speedy there was an older (looked almost vintage) bag there being heatstamped. not sure if they charge & im also not sure about the card. ive had a few pieces heatstamped but was never given one.

I just got my wallet done (picked it up Monday night!). They were not able to do the coloring - only the embossing - because of its age (4 years) and the color wouldn't stick. The SA was cute and said "trust me, it's better they didn't try", so I trusted him.
The heat stamping w/o color looks nice, too. |
