LV Branches - Do they go on sale or not?
Hi ,
I just like to know if LV Branches do ever go on sale?. I am from Manila and the store assistant told that thay never go on sale, ever!... I have friend who told me that I should just buy LV bags abroad cause she got hers at a discounted price? I already bought mine at the LV Branch here at price a little much higher than their online price. So is it true? For LV lovers out there abroad, do they go on sale ? thanks. |

To my knowledge...LV never never go on sale...or have any sales. Thats the beauty of LV, it maintains its price and unlike other designer labels, most have sales either end, middle or seasonal sales.
I find LV is very exclusive in that sense...

I have heard stories abt discounted prices overseas with luxury brands that usually do not have sales, it's quite worrying! Most likely reason is the SAs will take a little cut on their commission just to get their sales up and get in customers...  It never happens with LV though! Maybe she means it's cheaper to buy overseas because you can get a tax refund after and also it's cheaper to buy in some countries compared to others? |

so that means my acquaintance did not buy her bag on a LV branch overseas... My worry is it might be a fake LV. its good I just decided to buy my first LVs here...:)

LV never goes on sale but they have a counter at Holt Renfrew in Canada so when they have a personal shopping night (usually twice a year), I would buy something at LV and then get a gift card promo that can be used for something else at Holts or can be used towards another LV item. Kind of 10% off but better than nothing at all.
Keep an eye out for it in the deals and steals subforum. someone will bound to post it. it could be me once i get the notification from holts. LOL i'm pretty sure there might be one soon. Bear in mind, it is usually a lot of ppl when this happens so shop early!!! |

^^I won't call it a sale...its either price increased or decreased according to the market/exchange rate of that country.
