Thank you!!! That's what I thought, but wanted to get a second opinion. Was there a 1st "generation" of this bag? I believe it is a year-ish old and that the current sizing on lv website are different.

This is the old style date code, so it means it was made in March of 1996.

nope i do not have it on me. I just saw it floating around livejournal and i was curious to what it might be. I just saved the picture but i remember the owner saying it was an accordion-styled wallet.

I don't recollect LV ever making a style like this. But I agree with Lee though. The canvas looks funny to me.

do you guys know which Louis bag has the gold chains for handles and a gold toggle thing near the bottom right of the bag??

i think it was produced in some furry material and i recently saw it in the monogram!
