I saw what looked like a large vernis rond in the store today. The patent was smooth (not monogram) and had what looked like the trunks and bags logo stamped into it. The chain and clip were sort of a thicker bronze that had texture to it. The price was $375, and the only color they had it in was a pink color. Is this something that is discontinued?? What is it called?

I saw this girl carrying a well what I believed was a vernis clutch, it had a little buckle on the front of it, Kinda resembling the beverly, But much smaller and a bit boxier. I'm really dying to know what it was! i've searched everywhere trying to figure out the name of it or see if it was fake or not. It was super cute. It kinda looked like a monogram one. I think it was called the Laguna?! I'm not even sure becuase I can't even find a picture of it anywhere! Hope you can help me! thanks! :)

^Maybe it was the Koala wallet?
![]() Or the Fleurs clutch? Or a Spring Street? |

Thanks Lvbabydoll! but yeah it definitely wasn't those ones, it was kinda long and barrel shaped but really small. A bit smaller than a beverly clutch I think. The patina on it was pretty nice so thats why I'm thinking it's authentic, But i can't be sure because i was standing pretty far away.

It came in mono as well and I think it had an insert to make it an eyeglasses case. Yes, it was called the Laguna clutch and I believe the vernis version was only available in Japan or something...?? I may be wrong because I'm not familiar with this item. ^ If you are talking about the one in front of the Bedford, that is the Malibu Street. The Laguna clutch is even smaller than the Malibu Street, and has a wrist strap on it and I believe the buckle is round....?? I'm losing my memory. |

Aha, I found a picture for you in one of my Japanese magazines. Sorry, I was wrong, the mono version did have the round koala buckle but the vernis Laguna had the pointy koala buckle.
According to this magazine it only came in perle and noisiette/beige, but something tells me I've seen it in framboise as well. If it was made in framboise (I may be confusing it with the Malibu street), then it was definitely the last colour it came in, and it probably got discontinued shortly after that. |
